Donegal wedding || Eileen & Liam || Waterfront Hotel

Eileen & Liam had the most amazing Donegal wedding. Eileen from Scotland and Rossbeg native Liam decided that Ardara and the Waterfront Hotel in Dungloe were the perfect locations to celebrate their big day.

I met up with Eileen and her family at the house they were renting in Portnoo the morning of the wedding. On arrival everyone was in flying form as Aoibheann and the girls from G&G were applying the finishing touches to their hair and make-up.

Jason Mcgarrigle was wedding videographer for the day a man who I enjoy teaming up with as our relaxed approaches work so well together and helps keep everyone chilled throughout the day.

All ready to depart for Ardara

Once Eileen was in her stunning dress from Ivory Pinks Glasgow the bridal party were transported in style by Peter McLean Wedding Cars to the Church of The Holy Family Ardara where Liam, the lads and all the guests were waiting for the arrival of his soon to be wife.

Very Rev. Canon A. Laverty was the celebrant and with the backing of the most amazing music from The Friel Sisters the couple were united in marriage.

The Friel Sisters provided beautiful music both during the ceremony and at the drink reception at the Waterfront Hotel

After ceremony and family images were taken it was off to the beautiful Rossbeg for a few photos and a trip to the newlyweds favourite bar Dawros Bay House for a quick pint (Where they also had their day 2 celebrations) before heading onto the Waterfront Hotel.

There's always a great atmosphere in the Waterfront Hotel and during the pre-meal reception the music supplied again by The Friel Sisters really added to this.

With a ring of the bell from hotel General Manager Martina Rafferty the guests took their seats for the arrival of the wedding party followed by the new Mr & Mrs Boyle. Speeches were straight away and soon everyone was tucking in to the finest food the Waterfront has to offer.

White Diamond all the way from Athlone were hired by Eileen & Liam to entertain the guests and that they did as the hits came thick and fast keeping everyone on their feet on the dance floor with their live performance and DJ set.
