Dunmore Garden Wedding || Emma & Conor
Emma & Conor chose Carrigans as the host village for their recent ceremony and for me getting to showcase the beauty of a Dunmore Garden Wedding is always a pleasure as it's only a short drive from my home town of Lifford in East Donegal.
Urris is another gem of a location in County Donegal that I love to travel to for hillwalking, kayaking and the odd overnight in a tent so the drive over to Emma's parent's house on the morning of the wedding brought back some great memories of the area.
Once I arrived at the house the girls from Bridal Team were finishing off the hair and make-up as everyone either enjoyed a prosecco or a mug of tea perfectly brewed by dad Charlie.
Caroline & Charlie's home is absolutely stunning nestled between the sea to the front and the rugged hills to the rear and it's easy to see by it's upkeep how proud they are of it which has it's own benefits as a lot of the flowers used as the décor for the wedding were all grown in their gardens.
Once her hair and make-up was finished and a quick bit of breakfast was had Emma entered the kitchen in her stunning dress from Covet to the smiles of approval from all that was gathered.
After a few photos at the house we made the short trip over to Clonmany to Emma's grandparent's house for them to see her all ready for her big day.
Conor and the lads got ready in the stunning Mamore cottages and instead of wedding cars the couple had hired a minibus from Bradley's taxis to take them together to the venue so after visiting her grandparents she was collected by the rest of the squad and headed for Carrigans.
What really added to the day was Emma & Conor decided to arrive at Dunmore Gardens before the guests in order to get all the formal family and couple shoot photos done before the ceremony leaving the rest of the day to mingle and have the craic with their guests who were brought to the venue in buses laid on by McLoughlin coaches.
This was the second time I've captured wedding photos in the past few weeks with Celebrant for the day Florence Blackburn in Dunmore Gardens who always puts on such a meaningful ceremony and this coupled with the beautiful readings and music from family and friends Emma & Conor were pronounced husband and wife.
