Patricia & Paul's Darver Castle Wedding

A bit of a drive for this wedding but it was worth every mile to witness how special the day was for Patricia & Paul as they were married in front of family and friends in the absolutely stunning Darver Castle in County Louth. I had my good friend Gerard Gormley Photography out with me at this wedding and while I was along with the girls in the morning he was at the Fairways Hotel Dundalk capturing the craic as Paul and the boys had a few nerve controllers and got ready in their suits from Mark James Menswear for the big day ahead. I met up with the girls at Drummeenagh cottages a short distance from Darver Castle where they were being made look their best under the skilled hands of Aisling Byrne Hair and Kelly Donegan Makeup. Once Patricia was helped by the girls into her stunning dress from Pearls and Lace and a few TikTok videos created we departed to meet up with everyone at the castle. Weddings Online wedding Celebrant of the year 2022 winner Rev Brenda O'Grady was the celebrant for the ceremony and between herself, the venue and the beautiful voice of Mollie McKeever it was such a fitting event for Patricia, Paul and everyone witnessing it. Unfortunately mother nature wasn't as kind to us on the day and decided she would open the sprinklers so the ability for outdoor shots should have been out the window but fair play to the couple who trusted me to get them outside and back again for a few quick pics in between showers. This is the spirit that I love to see on a wedding day!!! Once the formal pictures were complete it was back into the castle again to be entertained by the lads from Tropical Storm who had everyone dancing and laughing, these boys were absolutely brilliant and I would highly recommend them!!! After a bit of the finest wining and dining the couple and guests partied into the night to the sound of their wedding band Curly Bobs.
