Villa Rose Wedding// Jessica & Conor// Donegal Wedding Photographer

I've done so many shoots for Jessica, Conor and the kids that I was delighted when they finally came to me with news that they had set their wedding date, secured the Villa Rose hotel in Ballybofey and wanted me onboard to capture their big day. Being a Donegal wedding photographer and living so close to Ballybofey/Stranorlar is great as I have explored nearly every inch of the area looking for the perfect settings for the location shoots.

When I got to Pamela & Ken Jessica's parent's house in Strabane the girls were well on time having their hair and make-up all done by Hair at Karen's . The atmosphere in the house was pretty relaxed for the big day was in it and that's always a big plus as the crew enjoyed a beautiful breakfast and picked songs to walk in to.

The bubbly was at the ready while the girls discussed the song choices

As the time came closer to the ceremony it was time for Jessica to get into her stunning dress from Perfect Day and by the reactions of her parents and the rest of the girls she had chose well.

I met up with Conor and the rest of the guests at the Church of the Immaculate Conception Strabane as they waited for the bridal party to be transported to the church in the luxury of then fleet of cars from Mercedes wedding car hire Strabane. Like most grooms I work with I'm pretty sure the nerves were hitting Conor as Jessica walked the aisle with her proud father but once beside him the nerves soon subsided.

Fr Declan Boland celebrant for the wedding

The couple had a beautiful ceremony celebrated by Fr Declan Boland with readings and other tasks being completed by close family and friends. Grainne Gavigan Music supplied the music during the ceremony and was back at the hotel afterwards to entertain the guests at the reception before the meal.

After the ceremony and a few pics of family and guests we departed for Barnesmore Gap for the location shoot. I always love this part of the day to be as relaxed and stress free as possible and with Darragh Clarke and Joshua Dolan on video I think we achieved this.

Barnesmore Gap is such a stunning location for photos

Once the location shoot was completed it was back to the Villa Rose for a few drinks with the guests before call to dinner and from the reports I've heard back the night carried on the good vibes from the earlier part of the day.

Thanks so much guys for having me as your wedding photographer.
